Caf Unveils Host Cities for 2015 Morocco World Cup.

Following the conclusion of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executive Committee meeting at the Cairo headquarter of the continental governing body, the hosts cities for the 2015 Orange African Cup of Nations (Afcon) billed for Morocco has been unveiled.

The four host cities for the biennial tournament includes: Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir and Tangier. Casablanca will serve as an alternative venue for the Afcon tournament which begins on January 17- February 7.

Also, the Libyan Football Federation has submitted the cities and venues for the 2017 Afcon for the Approval of the Caf Executive Committee.

Meanwhile the host nations for the 2019 and 2021 editions of the Afcon as well as that of the 2018 and 2020 African Nation Championship (CHAN) will be announced in the first half of 2014.

He deadline for the submission of application applications for the Afcon tournaments is slated for November 25, 2013 and December 4, 2013 for the CHAN.

Seychelles will host the 2015 African Beach Soccer Championship while Democratic Republic of Congo hosts the 2015 African U-23 Championship.

Cameroon has been picked to host the 2016 African Women’s Championship while Zambia will host the 2017 African U-20 Championship.

The Committee, at the meeting, also lifted the six-month suspension placed on the Liberia Football Association president, Musa Hassan A. Bility with effect from May 2, 2013.
