Struggling Nasarawa United Slashes Players and Officials Salary.

Following the 1-1 draw between Nasarawa United and Warri Wolves in their Glo Premier League (NPL) Week 24 tie by the weekend, players and officials of the Nasarawa side have been placed on half salary.

The club chairman, Isaac Danladi, also revealed that the technical crew has been issued a two-match ultimatum.

Speaking to MTNFootball.com, Danladi said: “We have put the technical crew and players on half salary.

“We are not happy with the performance of the team and we have handed the Alphonsus Dike-led technical crew a two-match ultimatum.”

Having being knocked out of the Federations Cup, after their 1-0 loss against Enyimba in the quarter-finals, United presently sits on 18th position on the league table.

Their Matchday 25 tie will be at Kaduna United on Wednesday.
