nneota_egbe_7863587Channels Television’s Senior Reporter, Nneota Egbe visited Maiduguri, the Boko Haram stranglehold, in Borno state, north east Nigeria to witness the level of damage the insurgents have carried out and to monitor the the level at which the Nigeria Army has been able to respond to the challenge posed.

Appearing as a guest on the television station’s morning flagship programme, Sunrise Daily, Mr Egbe narrated the response of the villagers to the presence of soldiers in their communities, the damage done by the Boko Haram insurgents, the level of success recorded by the soldiers and the general mood of the city, which happens to be in a stage of rebuilding, reconstruction and rehabilitation.
