Glo Nigeria Premier League (NPL) club, Dolphins has revealed that “a lot of European clubs” have made enquiries about Flying Eagles midfielder Abduljaleel Ajagun.
Ajagun, 20, the two goal hero in the opening match against Portugal in Kayseri, Turkey, is believed to have impressed scouts representing some of Europe’s top clubs at the ongoing Under-20 World Cup.
Acting General Manager of Dolphins, Dumbo Awanem confirmed that the club has received enquiries from clubs in Germany, France and Turkey for the services of the player.
“We have received enquiries, from a lot of European clubs yes. Clubs from Germany, France and Turkey have called to ask about the availability of the player and we are studying the situation very carefully,” Awanem told supersport.com.
Ajagun is currently joint top scorer alongside Spain and Real Madrid forward, Jese Rodriguez in the tournament tagged Turkey 2013.
