Ministy Director Arraigned For Stealing N64m

A Director in Kebbi State Ministry of Finance, Yahyah Saidu Andarai, and one Farouk Abubarka Uduli, were yesterday, arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before an Ikeja High Court for allegedly stealing N64 million belonging to Coscharis Motors Ltd.

The suspects and others, at large who were charged before Justice Adeniyi Onigbanjo, are facing a 27-count charge of conspiracy, fraud and stealing preferred against them by the EFCC.

The defendants were said to have converted the said sum, being the proceed from AX motorcycles, property of Coscharis Motors entrusted to them, to their personal use being the proceed of AX motorcycles, property of Coscharis Motors entrusted to them on behalf of Jega National Union of Local Government Employees of Kebbi State.

While the second defendant was only charged with a two-count charge, the first defendant was charged with a 27-count charge.

The defendants, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges preferred against them.

Onigbanjo, however granted the two defendants bail in the sum of N2 million, with two sureties in like sum.

Please let the chief judge of the fedration do something about the high court no13 of gudu were justice Muhammed Tahliba was suspended, becouse 90% of the inmate’s in prison are awaiting trial in that court for many years, some 8yrs, 5yrs 4yrs 3yrs. Please if possible let them be granted bail or be set free to there families.
