2015: We’re Ready For North – Dokubo-Asari

asaridokubo2Leader of the Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, has dared the authorities and leaders of northern Nigeria to arrest him if they can.

Dokubo-Asari, who last weekend warned of dire consequences for Nigeria if President Goodluck Jonathan is not reelected in 2015, told journalists on Wednesday evening in Abuja, that his stance remains unchanged despite calls for his arrest.

The former Ijaw Youth Council President warned that any attempt to arrest him would make Nigeria ‘history’ saying:

“I stand by my statement which I made in my early press conference. There will be no peace, not only in the Niger Delta, but everywhere, if Goodluck Jonathan is not president by 2015.

“I want to refresh your memories with comments made by these northerners, who had in the time past threatened war and break-up of Nigeria.

“In 2010, one Lawal Kaita said and I quote: ‘Anything short of a Northern President is tantamount to stealing our Presidency. Jonathan has to go and he will go. Even if he uses the incumbency power to get his nomination on the platform of the PDP, he would be frustrated out…The North is determined, if that happens, to make the country ungovernable for President Goodluck Jonathan or any other Southerner who finds his way to the seat of power on the platform of the PDP against the principle of the party’s zoning policy’.

“Today insurgent groups, in furtherance to Kaita’s call a’re wreaking havoc, attacking military barracks and seizing weapon, but we will not sit and watch. Kaita made this statement, nobody arrested or call for the arrest of this fellow, today he is walking free.

“Buhari made this statement in 2011, he was never arrested and nobody ever called for his arrest. In other countries, former leaders are being tried, but here, a man who overthrew a legitimate government, continues to threaten us with blood and nothing has happened.”

He added, “I am not afraid of arrest. I am saying it bold and clear without mincing words, that the consequences of my arrest, Nigeria will be history.

“The last time Obasanjo arrested me, my arrest reduced Nigeria oil production to 700,000 barrels per day.  This time, it will reduce it to zero barrel, and we will match violence with violence, intrigues with intrigues. We are ready for them. Goodluck Jonathan will complete his tenure of two terms, whether they like it or not.

“I am daring them to arrest me if they can. If they don’t, they are cowards and shame on them.”

Is you that has mental condition. First the question you ask yourself before insulting or throwing words at him is, what he said is it true, did kaita and buhari made same commenc? Is yes, why where they not arrested? The commence they made is at work through Boko Haram today because GEJ succeeded. So, who now need medical check up?

Nigeria’s peace is threatened from many quarters, its unity is being pulled apart: Oh Allah You are the giver of peace and non can give save You and non can withhold except You. Oh Allah we suffered decades of bad leadership and now our peace and unity is threatened. Allah remove peace from heart of Dokubo and his like, their blood you should cause to dry, let the terror be confined within their bodies, shake them below their feet, turn them upside down while on their mounts. Oh Allah bestow peace and tranquility on Nigeria, solidify its fragile unity oh The powerful. Bless this country with good leadership oh Allah. Ameen

Just listen to yourself, why not pray this same prayer to the Boko Harams killing innocent souls with their booming everyday. This the problem, too many selfish and self centered people. Now you can pick Asari to pray for God to kill and restore peace. And this can only be because you hate the truth.

This country cannot handle democracy. Everybody in this country is so selfish that we won’t allow somebody else from another geographical region to lead us and at the same time we won’t like to quit office for others to come in. Why? I think we’ll all be better off if we are in the hands of army!

Power executed is decisive… The northernats has mounted pressure making sure that anyone not just southernats but anyone beyond the north metro should not have a peaceful administration. If they are not guilty of the crisis in this country since the appointment of a non-northern presidency, let them stay away and see if the elected president of 2o15 will not make a single archivement… As for Dokunbo Asari, we all have the right of speech as embedded in the Nigeria constitution. No one should question your speech… Relax… God has a final word on this

I will continue to stand by what i say and on what i know is morally right,Asari may not be saying the right thing but that doesn’t change the fact that religious bigots like buhari,el rufai and kaita made more grievous statements than the statement asari made.Come to think of it is buhari above the law?why wasnt he invited by the inspector general of police when he made those statements?the northerners don’t have monopoly of violence,in as much as i will not call for violence justice must be maintained on this issue, buhari made his statement first, so he should be arrested first before asari.I remember vividly that the president of CAN,Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor called for his arrest and nobody said anything about it,i suppose then the speaker tambuwal was blind and deaf,he could not see and hear so that was why he couldn’t call on the IG to arrest buhari. Mr speaker we can not be fooled any more we are wiser than you think. You can only be the president of hausa people not the entire Nigeria. As a NIGERIAN i want to salute the very few Nigerians that called for the arrest of buhari and his cohorts,i hail you Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor,i salute your courage on National matters, you may not be politically right in the eyes of some of our politicians but you are always on the side of the common man. God we always pprotect you at a time like this.Keep the flag flying.
