Yero An Epitome Of Discipline, Rule Of Law – Jang

Gov YeroGovernor Jonah David Jang of Plateau State has described his Kaduna State counterpart – Mukhtar Ramalan Yero as an embodiment of discipline and a man that adheres to the rule of law.

Jang, who was speaking at the launch of Academic School and Juma’at Mosque of Jamaatul Izalatul Bidia Wa Ikamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Jos on Sunday, commended Yero for honouring the invitation to attend the event in Jos.

Jang noted that some governors had visited the state in the past without notifying him but praised Yero for deeming it fit to inform him that he was coming to Plateau as the courtesy demands.

Jang, who spoke through his Commissioner of Water Resources Mallam Idi Waziri, also said he was surprised when he received the invitation from JIBWIS and to also serve as chief host.

“This exhibits an extension of friendship and hope that the lost glory of cordial relationship, brotherhood, love and mutual understanding has returned among the people of the state”, he said.

Speaking at the event, Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero said demonstration of fear of God in all engagement is critical for the purpose of peace and unity of the country.

“We, as leaders, need to be Just and fair to our wards, and also as individuals extend to neighbours irrespective of religion or tribe; we must be ready to open our hearts and face reality and also change our attitude collectively”, he said.
