Visually impaired American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Stevie Wonder says he totally backs CBS’ push to ban risque clothing from The Grammys. Justifying his support, Stevie says, “Children watch it too, ya know?”

Information Nigeria reports that Broadcaster CBS sent a lengthy and very specific list of wardrobe no-nos to celebrity minders warning butts, breasts and other bits must not be displayed on the red carpet or the stage.

“Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered,” the letter reads in part. Furthermore, CBS warns, “Thong-type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack.

CBS also stated that “The policy extends to any audience members who may appear on camera.”

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The show will be broadcast on CBS.
