Pilot’s Bombshell: Lagos International Airport Has No Runway Light

The deplorable state of Nigeria’s airports was once again brought to the fore as a pilot, Benson Ikponwosa on Monday said Nigeria’s premier airport in Lagos, the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, has no light and poses a danger to travellers who arrive or depart from the airport.

Mr Ikponwosa said the runway lights were destroyed when the road was resurfaced and thereafter, has not been replaced.

He said: “If planes were coming into Nigeria at night and for any reason the light on the runway closer to the domestic terminal fails then all those airplanes would need to go to Cotonou, Lome or Ghana.”

  1. Record a DVD program. I’m actually teaching how to do it at home, have it automated online (from sales and marketing to print and deliver). As part of your product- add some goodies like transcription of the audio / video, a workbook, couple of check-lists and easy assessments If you price it at only $497 and sell just 2 products a day you’ll end up with #357,840 per year, but you can go all the way up to $2,000 for a single sale. Key here is: you’ve got to know what you’re doing and whatever you deliver: make sure that you are easy to be understood.
