ACN governors are busy plundering all the South-West states – PDP

The South-West arm of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) as a party of shameless political hypocrites, fraudsters and greedy capitalists, who would have sold Nigeria if the party were to be in charge of the country. These allegations are coming, apparently, as reaction to the ACN’s attack on PDP National Chairman, Dr. Bamanga Tukur, which the PDP described as “a further demonstration of the ACN hypocrisy.”

It would be recalled that, while fielding questions from state House correspondents on Tuesday, Dr Tukur had regretted the growing security challenges in the country, but noted that there was little political parties could do since they were not security organisations.

Of course, in a reaction to the above statement by the PDP boss, the ACN said what the PDP chairman said, in essence, was that the party was no longer fit to rule and that Nigerians should look elsewhere if indeed they want a government that will ensure the security of life and property.

Therefore, in a counter reaction, PDP Zonal Publicity Secretary, Hon. Kayode Babade, said; “Nigerians are no longer fooled by the ACN propaganda… Therefore, instead of wasting its time on senseless attack on our national chairman, who only made a honest and patriotic comment, the ACN should be honest enough to admit the plundering of all the South-West states by its governors.”
