To Mark His First EPL Goal Of The Season, Balotelli Warns, ‘I’m God’s Punishment Upon You’

All Manchester City’s opponents in the Barclays English Premier League should better run for cover from henceforth as their punishment is at hand – Mario Balotelli.

The 22-year old footballer who’s not exactly known for his understated look, has revealed where his latest ostentatious show of arrogance comes from in the form of his new tattoo, on his chest.

The Manchester City striker and self-confessed lothario Mario Balotelli went all out with his latest inking, perhaps to mark his first Barclays Premier League goal of the season on Wednesday.

And what you’d expect your average footballer to do is perhaps to celebrate with a night out, but no, Balotelli isn’t your average footballer as he decided that the best way to show how proud of himself he was, was to ink a Genghis Khan quote on his torso.

Here’s where you might want to know briefly, who Genghis Khan is:

  • Genghis Khan lived from 1162 to 1227 and was the founder of the Mongol Empire.
  • His Mongol Empire ended up ruling, or briefly conquering, large parts of modern day China, Mongolia, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, South Korea, North Korea and Kuwait.
  • During his reign, he was responsible for the deaths of more people than both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin.
  • Khan is believed to be one of the most prolific lovers the world has ever seen, fathering hundreds, if not thousands, of children.
  • Due to this, a team of geneticists recently revealed they believe one in every 200 men alive today is a relative of Khan

‘I am the punishment of God,’ reads the artwork. ‘If you had not committed great sins, God would not have sent a punishment like me upon you.’

Can you beat that?
