The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end technical delivery of the customer solution, which involves performing technical pre-sales and post-sales support activities in the delivery of the company’s products and services to its customers. The Technical Sales Engineer must also ensure the clients’ and the company’s needs are met by providing support on product, business and technical knowledge. Other responsibilities include to:
|Supervision:||To work directly under the supervision of the Technical Sales Supervisor/Manager|
|You will be required to liaise and interface regularly with other members of the sales team, product development and marketing teams as well as colleagues from other groups/departments.|
|Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:||§ A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering or relevant field|
§ Good understanding of telecommunications/engineering principles, transmission, access networks, IP networks etc.
§ In-depth knowledge of Transmission technologies such as SDH, Microwave, Fibre transmission, etc.
§ In-depth knowledge of IP and IP related Technology and protocols such as BGP, MPLS, DNS etc.
§ Very good knowledge of Main One’s products and services.
§ Good oral and written communication skills
§ Presentation skills
§ Time & self-management skills
§ Relationship Management
§ Team work
