Job Description

A Country Controller Manager provides strategic Business support to Management by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the country’s Financial Reports prepared in accordance with relevant Accounting standards and within fixed deadlines. The Country Controller Manager also provides the Company Secretary with information with regards to partner’s payroll, income tax and distribution.

•  Responsible for managing multiple functional areas in day-to-day controllership operations

•  Supervise Country Controller Specialists and Analysts

•  Maintain a deep knowledge/skills in Accounting, Financial, GAAP, IFRS and Internal Controls

•  Coordinate Management review of service providers (e.g. Shared Services, Service Center, AHRS)

•  Serve as knowledge expert resource for other Finance groups (e.g., Financial management, Corporate Tax and Internal Control/Audit requirements)

•  Perform monthly review of financial results with OG finance teams

•  Coordinate with other controllership functions (e.g., CFM – engagement reviews, engagement issues)

•  Review/approve various journal entries/adjusting entries

•  Perform compliance reviews of various internal controls and procedures (participation/management of control reviews of key areas with financial impact)

•  Prepare internal management and status reporting

•  Guide development of controllership personnel team (specialists and analysts)

•  Responsible for special projects on an as needed basis, including reviewing and evaluating complex specific accounting transactions/treatment and providing requested support from other organizations within Accenture on significant accounting transactions and/or business events

• Write procedures for controllership activities
