Female Rapper Ms. Chief Set To Debut

One of Nigeria’s fastest rising female rappers Opeyemi Hassan, whose stage name is Ms. Chief, has released her latest offering Slow off the upcoming EP album.

The new single, dropped some days ago, revealed Ms. Chief as versatile artiste, and coming on the heels of the release of her label’s mixtape Recognize, Ms. chief has shown that in a male dominated industry, she can survive.

The BeatBuxx360 signee already has two singles rocking the airwaves (That Girl Feat, Wizkid and Wanting featuring Yemi Alade, Kel and Zara) and is also working on video for Slow. Ms. Chief says she’s grabbing 2012 with both hands, putting her best foot forward to make sure she records a spectacular outing before the year runs out.

The accounting graduate of the University of Lagos says that her upcoming EP will show that she has a lot to offer lovers of good music.

22-year-old Ms. Chief started her career at the age of 16, but only released her first single in October 2011 and immediately became one of Nigeria’s fastest rising female rap stars with the release of her first single Wanting feat. Ex-O. [PM]
