Nigeria Gains Global Recognition in Tourism

NIGERIA has gained the recognition and acceptance of the International Council of Tourism Partners (ITCP) as a tourism destination of importance.

This recognition is coming on the heels of yet another promotional and marketing blitz to London Olympics 2012 where Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) plans to expose Nigeria’s tourism to the international audience.

The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) has achieved another international recognition for Nigeria with the acceptance of the country as a destination member of the International Council of Tourism Partners (ICTP), a US-based international tourism body.

ICTP President, Professor Geoffrey Lipman, in a statement, described Nigeria as the biggest market on the continent while commending NTDC for the big stride in relentlessly promoting the country across the globe.
