Eedris AbdulKareem blasts D’banj

Controversial Nigerian rapper Eedris AbdulKareem, while speaking at the subsidy rally in Ojota dared D’banj to come and stand on the side of the people and see if he would be treated with the same respect and love the people rendered other musicians who he said did not campaign for Jonathan.

Eedris says he refused money offered to him to support Jonathan’s election campaign knowing “it would end like this”. He even used the F-word against Dbanj.

“I didn’t eat government’s money, so I cannot be afraid of the people. But he and others cannot come out and stand on the side of the people now because they collected money, they should vomit it.” He said in a phone interview with a news correspondent.

Eedris AbdulKareem, well known for his brawl with 50cent’s entourage some time ago was said to have assaulted Jaywon, a fellow label-mate (Kennis Music) over an argument.

Jaywon later accused Eedris of being “envious and Jealous” of him in a national newspaper but the Artist and Repertoire (A&R) of Kennis Music, Shola Ijanusi, said jaywon was misquoted as he attempted to potray the incident as a family affair.
