I’ll Maintain My Father’s Legacy, Says Toke Alex-Ibru

TokeTHE eldest son of the late publisher of The Guardian, Mr. Toke Alex-Ibru, says he will endeavour to preserve the legacy of his father, Dr. Alex Uruemu Ibru.

Toke, who spoke briefly with journalists in front of the St. Peter’s Chapel, Ibru Centre, Agbarha-Otor, where his father was buried, said he would miss him dearly.

“I will continue his legacy and I will miss him dearly,” he said.

His father started early in life and successfully built a business empire, including The Guardian Newspapers and major stakes in the hospitality industry.
